Harvey D. Bullock, Jr. DMA

Dr. Harvey D. Bullock, Jr. has been a Director of Bands on the secondary and higher education levels for 27 years, serving as a middle school and high school director in the states of Virginia and Delaware. Dr. Bullock has served at Smithfield High School and Booker T. Washington High School in Virginia, as well as Dover Central Middle School, Seaford High School, and Sussex Tech High School in Delaware. Dr. Bullock is a 1991 graduate of Elizabeth City State University, a 1995 graduate of Delaware State University, and a 2014 graduate of Capella University. From 1995-98, Dr. Bullock served as the Assistant Director of Bands for Delaware State University. Dr. Bullock now returns to his alma mater to serve as its Director of Bands. Serving in his third year as Director of Bands, Dr. Bullock also serves as one of the directors for the Delaware Blue-Gold All-Star Band. Dr. Bullock takes great joy in sharing with, and transferring his love of music to, his students. It is his desire that they leave his program with the same lifelong lessons, experiences, and memories that has fueled his love of music, and that have propelled him to become a music educator.
