Music Program

Interview with Eric Darius

At Delaware State University, the Music Program provides a rich musical experience for all students and contributes to the musical life of the university, community and state. We offer Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Music, Music Education, Music Industry, and Pre-Music Therapy, as well as a music minor.

In addition to our curriculum, music majors receive a variety of performing experience as soloists and in ensembles ranging from Marching Band and Choir to the Popular Music Ensemble and Steel Drum Ensemble, plus hands-on experience through internships in music industry, field experiences in teaching, and master classes with renowned artists. Combined with our close proximity to the major arts centers of Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Baltimore, DSU offers a well-rounded education to prepare our students for their next step.
