Biography & Research
Dr. Kimeu Boynton serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Delaware State University. He also serves as the Director of Law Studies and works to assist students in navigating the law school admissions process.
Dr. Boynton’s teaching and research interests revolve around racial justice issues, violence prevention, and trauma recognition in minority communities. He is also interested in examining racial disparities in the criminal justice system; the impact of institutional racism on law enforcement practices; community responses to crime; and the intersection of sociology and criminology in understanding social control and deviance.
