Educational Leadership in Adult & Higher Education, MEd

The MEd in Educational Leadership in Adult & Higher Education is an accelerated 36-credit advanced preparation program which can be completed in approximately two to two and a half (2-2.5) years. The program prepares students for entry and mid-level professional positions in higher education or adjacent roles in adult education administration.

At program completion, graduates are expected to have the knowledge, skills, and perspectives to support student development and administration in adult education programs, public and private, 2- and 4-year postsecondary institutions. This advanced graduate degree prepares graduates to work in entry level positions in postsecondary related areas of adult education such as college access, college non-profits, degree completion, educational foundations, bridge programs or university administration such as student affairs, bridge programs, academic advising, enrollment management, admissions, or student engagement programs.
