Aron Vadakin, PhD

Dr. Aron Vadakin is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of History, Political Science, and Philosophy. Vadakin earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from Florida State University. His research specializes in metaethics and the philosophy of action and includes topics dealing with theoretical and applied ethics, practical reasoning, and rationality.

Vadakin has teaching experience in courses focused on applied ethics, logic, critical thinking, and research and composition. He has also served as a coach for debate teams competing in the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl.
