Pepron Pilibossian, MM

pepronPepron Pilibossian has established herself as an educator, recitalist and chamber musician in high demand. A winner of numerous national and international competitions, scholarships and awards, she has performed throughout the United States, Canada, Spain and Bulgaria. Recent appearances include Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Walt Disney Hall, Zipper Hall, and SOKA - where, in only two days notice, she performed with Timothy Landauer in all Beethoven concert of the Pacific Symphony. Summer performances include Varna Summer, Sarasota, Music Academy of the West, The Kapelle Trio and Round Top International Music Festivals. Pepron has performed with distinguished artist such as Livia Sohn, Kenneth Grant, Emilio Colon, and as an accompanist for master classes given by Boris Belkin, Charles Castelman, Fredell Lack, Benjamin Kamins, Midori, Yfrah Neaman, Charles Neidich, Gustav Rivinius, Sergiu Shwartz, Janos Starker, Camilla Wicks to name a few. Ms. Pilibossian has served as an official accompanist for the DuCrest International Competition and as opera teaching assistant and studio accompanist at USC. In 2008, Pepron was invited to be the collaborative pianist-in residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Alberta, Canada and The Master Classes for Musical Improvement in Felechosa, Spain. She has also held teaching and collaborative pianist positions at the Colburn School, Orange County School of the Arts, University of California Los Angeles, Occidental College, East Los Angeles Community College, Idyllwild Arts Summer Program and Lincoln University. Currently she fulfills her passion for mentoring young musicians as a lecturer of piano and collaborative pianist at Delaware State University. Her performances and recordings have been broadcasted on Radio Varna, Bulgarian National Radio and Television, Baton Rouge local TV channels, KLSU, KUSC, PBS, and a promotional DVD for the Music Academy of the West.
