Consultation Expertise

Over my career, I have been able to identify my personal leadership credo, including the fundamental belief that leaders must be equally comfortable as followers, learning from all of our professional interactions. University program chairpersons, especially those in the arts, often must wear several hats – administrator, instructor, role model, arts advocate, facilitator, negotiator, budget analyst. Further, we must lead by example in the performance of every task within our repertoire of responsibility. As an administrator, teacher or advocate, ours should be consistent behavior that invites repetition by those around us.
