Adenike Davidson
Adenike Davidson is a professor of Literature, Race, and Gender, and Interim Dean at Delaware State University. She is a member of the leadership team for the AP English Literature and Composition Exam, currently serving as a Question Leader and scoring the exam for over 20 years. Adenike is also an AP Consultant for AP English Literature and AP African American Studies and serves as a Syllabus Auditor. In her free time, she is a sewist and yoga instructor.
Patrice Frasier
Patrice Frasier has taught American Government, U.S. History, standard and AP African American Studies at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore, MD since 2009. She is also the Social Studies department chair at Poly. Patrice is among the first group of teachers to pilot the AP African American Studies class, Patrice trained at the Howard University APSI in 2022. She has contributed to AP Daily materials and headnotes for the course. A certified College Board Consultant, Patrice has served as a Reader for AP African American Studies since Pilot Year 1 in 2023.
Patrice earned a BA Degree in Government and Politics and a certificate in African American Studies from University of Maryland at College Park and an MS in Instructional Technology from Towson University. She is certified to teach secondary social studies.
Ricardo Viteri
Ricardo Viteri earned his BA in Biology from New Jersey City University in 2004 and went on to complete his MA in Secondary Education at Seton Hall University in 2006. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ricardo has taught various life science courses and is now in his 12th year teaching AP Environmental Science.
For the past 10 years, Ricardo has served as an official College Board reader and was a College Board Advisor for the AP Environmental Science Committee from 2016 to 2020. He currently spends his summers traveling to teach at AP Summer Institutes and continues to write questions for the College Board and the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP).
Throughout his career, Ricardo has received several awards and grants, including being named 2024 Teacher of the Year. One of his notable grants funded the establishment of a mini Tilapia fish farm at his high school, where students monitored water quality and fish growth. Another grant supported the installation of an outdoor bottle filling station near the school stadium, promoting sustainability by reducing single-use plastic and encouraging reusable bottles.
Ricardo is passionate about professional development and has extensive experience mentoring both new and seasoned teachers. He takes great pride in helping educators succeed in the classroom.
Jason DeLucco
Jason DeLucco teaches AP Psychology at St. Mary’s Ryken High School in Leonardtown, MD. He developed and implemented the AP Psychology curriculum for his school. Mr. DeLucco is a veteran of the AP Psychology Reading serving as a reader and a table leader. He worked on a committee called by the College Board to review and help design the Course and Exam Description (CED) for AP Psychology in 2018. Mr. DeLucco has worked with publishers to help design and develop materials that accompany the CED. He has presented at numerous one day conferences both on Psychology and on Education Technology, a huge passion for Mr. DeLucco. Mr. DeLucco is a member of Teachers of Psychology in Secondary Schools (TOPSS) as affiliated with the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Society for the Teaching of Psychology (STP). Mr. DeLucco was recognized in 2019 as one of the Outstanding Teachers of History in the state of Maryland by the National Historical Society of Maryland. Currently, Mr DeLucco teaches AP Psychology and loves listening to Psychology related podcasts.
Joseph Housey III
Joseph Housey III has been dedicated to teaching AP Language and Composition at Prince George’s County Public Schools since 2009. He has taken on various leadership roles, including curriculum writer, AP Department Chair, AP Coordinator, and Professional Development Facilitator. Since 2015, he has served as an AP Exam Reader. As a Certified College Board Consultant, Joe has led AP Language and Composition Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSIs) and online workshops, as well as facilitated Inclusion and Equity training for over 250 consultants. Joe has focused on refining instructional strategies through performance assessments, offering insightful feedback on lesson plans, and creating comprehensive learning solutions, such as online tutorials. Joe’s commitment to education and equity continues to shape his approach to teaching and mentoring.
Brent Ferguson
A lifelong learner, Brent is committed to empowering teachers and students to learn how to learn. He is keen to listen to other educators and to share his own stories of teaching and learning as part of each year’s AP Summer Institutes. A 30+ year teaching veteran, he recently left schools for full-time consulting: his company is “F.E.R.G. Math Mentoring (Finding Engagement for Real Growth).” The sacred trust placed in teachers requires that we support students with care as they learn who they are, who they are becoming, & their role in the process of growth. Awarded a 2013 Rosenthal Prize & 2017 NJ PAEMST finalist, he has co-authored 3 eds. of the TE for Sullivan/Miranda’s CALCULUS for the AP Class & presents often @ NCTM and other venues. Summers include reading AP exams, leading APSIs as a CB Consultant, and road trips w/ his family.
